Generally, there are three ways to get to NTNU: by air plane, by train or by bus.

The web site is a little bit outdated. Here is a correction: the price of the bus ticket is 30 Nok.

For most of you, the first destination would probably be the student village rather than NTNU. But the guide is almost the same.

For those who arrives by train, you could choose to take a bus to Moholt. Take bus 47 in front of the railway station and transfer to bus 5 at the stop called 'Trondheim Torg'. However, I guess most of you would come with A LOT OF luggage:P. In this case I would recommend a taxi, just in front of the railway station. The taxi charges both by distance and time, but generally the price from the station to Moholt student village is 200 Nok. It is more worthy compared with getting lost with a handful of your luggage on the first day:)

In case someone has already fetch the key of your apartment, otherwise, the first place you would go should be SIT(Student Welfare Organization in Trondheim), which is responsible of your accommodation, to get your key. If you arrive out of the office time, remember to inform SIT, so that you could get your key from them with the help of residence assistant.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you arrive several days later than the supposed move-in date, DO REMEMBER to inform SIT!!! Otherwise, it could happen that the consider you would give up the apartment and give it out to other students:(
